The Planet eStream Google Classroom Share Link allows users to seamlessly share web links from their Planet eStream system into Google Classroom.
In order to gain access to this feature, please ensure that your users' schema permissions enable them them to share web links.
When a user views a Planet eStream item that they want to share with Google Classroom, they can simply click on the sharing options, select web link and then click on the Google Classroom option. There is no requirement to copy and paste links.
You will be asked to sign into Google using your normal Google account and will then be presented with the usual options. Just select the course and then choose whether you want to create an assignment, ask a question or make an announcement.
Once you have specified with action you want to take, you will be able to determine which students this Planet eStream content is delivered to, alter the title, add any instructions and then specify a due date and topic if required. To add to your course click assign, alternatively you can schedule this content for a more suitable or save a draft.
Your students can then view the assignment on the course and when they click on the web link, it will open up in a new tab. All they will need to do is log into your Planet eStream site to view it back using their usual credentials.
