If you cannot renew you books you will see a red due date message on you Library Account. Overdue item(s) will also appear in the overdue tab. You will also not be able to renew the item.
This may be because:
- You owe some fines - If the fine is over £2, the Library must see the overdue items. You will also need to pay some of the fine off before items can be issued or renewed. Please visit your nearest Library site and staff will help you with your renewal and fines.
- Someone else has reserved the book - therefore you need to bring it back as soon as possible to allow the book to be accessed by other learners.
- Your card has expired.
- You can only renew items twice yourself. The third time Library staff will need to check the book and issue again if necessary.
